For the same game, compare Field Level and Loge seats, the outfield pavilions, and the Reserve Level and Top Deck higher up. Each sees the field differently, and each is priced on its own.

A BETTER DAY AT THE BALLPARK
Affordable Dodgers tickets depend on more than the number in the schedule. Where you sit, when the game starts, who’s coming, what the ticket actually includes and how you reach the ballpark all change what the day costs. These four sections go through each one using the Dodgers’ own ballpark information. Use them with the live schedule above, and reconfirm the details on the listing before you pay.
The Dodgers’ ballpark guide describes seating from Field Level up through the Loge and Reserve levels to the Top Deck, with the Left and Right Field Pavilions in the outfield. Baseline seats put you near the infield and look across the diamond. Pavilion seats look in from beyond the outfield wall, a very different angle on each pitch. The upper levels trade distance for a view of the whole field.
Use the seat map on each game’s StubOrder page, and read the row and listing notes. The Dodgers say protective netting extends from behind home plate along both baselines, with coverage varying by section, and suggest contacting their ticket office for section details. A section name alone doesn’t describe your exact sightline.
Start time shapes the whole outing, from traffic to temperature, so check the first-pitch time on the listing before you choose. Stadium gates open about two hours before first pitch, according to the Dodgers’ guide. Sun exposure depends on the date, the start time and which way a seat faces. We haven’t found an official section-by-section shade guide, so this site doesn’t label sections as shaded. The guide allows factory-sealed plastic bottles of non-alcoholic drinks of one liter or less, but umbrellas aren’t permitted inside.
Planning ahead? MLB’s preliminary 2027 schedule has the Dodgers hosting the Atlanta Braves on Opening Day, Thursday, March 25, 2027, and ending the regular season on September 26 in Arizona. Arizona spring training games are listed too and can be titled like home games, so check the city.
Set your quantity before comparing listings, then work out the cost per person, including tax and any delivery charge. The Dodgers’ guide says children 3 and under enter free if they sit on a parent’s or guardian’s lap, so count everyone who needs a seat. If your group must sit together, confirm the seats are adjoining on one listing rather than combining separate listings. The guide also lists elevators and escalators between levels.
Promotions need a close read. The guide says stadium giveaways are one item per person with a valid ticket, while supplies last. Theme nights are different: the Dodgers’ special event ticket pages say the exclusive item comes only with a package bought through the Dodgers, and third-party purchases won’t include it. Buy a resale ticket for the game, not for an item it may not carry.
Give parking its own line in the budget. The Dodgers sell parking separately, prepaid parking is available until three hours before first pitch, and the transportation FAQ notes no refunds or in-and-out privileges. Doubleheaders and postseason games depend on the exact listing. The Dodgers’ canceled-games policy separates split doubleheaders, with a ticket for each game, from combined doubleheaders on one ticket, so never assume one ticket covers two games. Postseason listings marked “If Necessary” are played only if the series reaches them. The Dodger Stadium Express is free for ticketholders from Union Station and from South Bay stops on Metro’s J Line, and the Union Station buses use a dedicated lane on Sunset Boulevard. Service starts a few hours before first pitch; check Metro’s Dodger Stadium page for current times and return service.
Parking is bought separately from your game ticket. The Dodgers’ parking page says prepaid parking is sold until three hours before first pitch, parking gates open 2.5 hours before game time and stadium gates two hours before, and only prepaid or card payments are accepted. The transportation FAQ prices parking lower in advance than at the gate, with no in-and-out privileges and no refunds.
